Project Description
The Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois is seeking a professional services consultant for the design, bid/award, and construction phase services for the Business Instructional Facility (BIF) - Fourth Floor Office Addition project. The Business Instructional Facility Building is located at 515 East Gregory Drive, Champaign, Illinois, and is not yet eligible for listing on the National Registry of Historic Places.

The intent of this project is to grow and retain tenure-track faculty by providing additional office space for these new faculty members. The project consists of the addition of faculty offices to the fourth floor of the existing building. The east wing of the building that runs along Sixth Street has four floors. The fourth floor contains meeting spaces and faculty offices. West of these offices is a green roof area. The proposed building addition will be located in place of the existing green roof area. It is expected the work of this project will not impact the existing LEED status of this facility. This building addition will house new faculty offices.
