The University of Illinois at Chicago is seeking a Construction Management Professional Services Consultant for the construction of a new building, to be built at 900 W. Taylor Street, for the College of
Engineering. The building is intended to accommodate the computer science department and include dry labs, special use spaces, student spaces, administrative and office space. The scope of the work will
include, but is not limited to, cost estimating, project scheduling, review of pertinent feasibility reports, soil boring reports, or other engineering reports and an analysis to help determine if the entire building should be connected to the central campus utility plant, provided with stand-alone utility services, or a combination of both. The conceptualization phase is already underway. The conceptual phase will establish the scope of the work for the project, and the construction budget. The overall project budget is
limited to $90,000,000.00.
The project will be designed to LEED Gold.
