This project is for the demolition, removal, and cleanup of the Western Illinois University-owned building, formerly occupied by Godfather’s Pizza, located at 312 W University Drive, Macomb, IL. Work to include removal and cleanup of building utilities and associated site paving and site utilities. The existing structure is a one-story masonry structure with foundations and footings. The intent is to recycle the majority of building materials, components, and paving, and divert from the landfill through recycling or re-purposing efforts.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 1:30 pm local time at the Grigsby Physical Plant large training room, Macomb, IL. A site visit will be held immediately following the pre-bid meeting.
Any award will be subject to the Responsible Bidder provisions of the Illinois Procurement Code, including, but not limited to payment of prevailing wages, utilizing equal employment opportunity hiring practices in connection with the project, and participating in applicable apprenticeship programs. Failure to include a copy of your current Board of Elections registration form with your bid will cause your bid to be rejected.
