The University awarded a contract for x-ray system full service contract.
This purchase is for a full service contract on the Allura Xper FD20 Interventional X-Ray System. This includes emergency service calls and routine preventative maintenance.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for medical supplies or medical services necessary for the delivery of care and treatment at medical, dental, or veterinary teaching facilities utilized by SIU or U of I (30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b-5)) This Service Agreement serves in the best interest to UI Health to maintain this system up and running to limit any downtime. Any downtime to the machine would limit patient care. All Preventative Maintenance and Services parts will be included in this agreement.
