Announcement of an Exempt Purchase

This exemption is for a X-ray mirrors system for in-vacuum operations at ChemMatCARS. The mirror system is essential for producing high-brightness, micro-focused X-ray beams required for cutting-edge crystallography, materials science, and time-resolved studies.

This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for performing sponsored research and other sponsored activities under grants and contracts funded by the sponsor or by sources other than State appropriations.
