The University awarded a contract for consulting services.
Chartis Group LLC will provide consulting services to the Institute for Healthcare Delivery Design on the IDHS Olmstead-Williams & Colbert project. This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for performing sponsored research and other sponsored activities under grants and contracts funded by the sponsor or by sources other than State appropriations. (30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b)(8)) IHDD serves as a consulting firm within the University. IHDD's work is mission-aligned with the University: Provide advising services to healthcare system partners and government agencies with the goal of broadening access to healthcare in the State.
