The University awarded a contract for Tassel's web-based management platform.
Tassel web-based management platform will provide online data management, registration, ticketing, digital displays, name recordings, digital recordings and Chat Bot for UIC Commencement Ceremonies.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for athletic, artistic or musical services, performances, events, or productions by or for a public institution of higher education. (30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b)(4)) This is for events, including UIC's commencement ceremonies.
