The University awarded a contract for Grant Data Consulting Services.
Vendor will provide consulting services related to the harmonization and analysis of data from participating trials including, cognitive measure harmonization, demographics/Social Determinants of Health (SDOH), etc. harmonization, behavioral measure harmonization and harmonization of other measures between and across trials. Additionally, vendor will conduct custom statistical analyses to support peer-reviewed publications including table/figure creation and iterating with the Principal Investigators (PIs) on manuscript drafts and the peer-review process.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for performing sponsored research and other sponsored activities under grants and contracts funded by the sponsor or by sources other than State appropriations. (30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b)(8)) Grant statistics data consultant for specific research data related to award NIH grant impact of change in lifestyle health behaviors on cognition: Harmonizing and leveraging participant level data from randomized controlled trails with the university's PIs.
