(30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b)(8)) The instrument associated with this service was originally acquired under a federal NIH award has a one-year warranty. Without this contract in place, a single repair event could exceed $50,000. Therefore, failure to approve this agreement could result in significant financial impact to the university.
