Project Description
Elevator E1 and E2: Provide renovation of the existing hydraulic elevators including new hydraulic jack unit, microprocessor controller, door operator, new spring-loaded roller guides to replace existing slide guides, crosshead data plate, top of car handrail, top of car inspection station, pit channels, spring buffers, steel cab shell including new finishes, single car control station, hall buttons, in-car lantern, digital hall position indicator at floor 1, push plate fixtures, and associated general and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work. Also provide an additional stop switch and pit switch located at the rear of the cab at Elevator E2. Associated work at Elevator E2 includes installation of new shaft wall construction within the hoistway to eliminate setbacks, as well as construction of a new concrete masonry unit partition and new hollow metal doors and frames in the machine room to isolate unrelated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment. Elevator E3: Provide renovation of the existing traction elevator including new AC gearless machine and deflectors, microprocessor controller, traction steel hoist ropes, door operator, spring-loaded roller guides, top of car handrail, top of car inspection station, chain compensation, spring buffers for the car and counterweight, retractable pit ladder, pit switch, steel cab shell including new finishes, single car control station, hall buttons, in-car lantern, digital hall position indicators, push plate fixtures, and associated general and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work.
