Addendum 01 supplements and amends the project manual and the drawings and shall be taken into account in preparing this proposal and shall become a part of the contract documents. Bidders must acknowledge receipt of this addendum by listing the number and date, where provided, on the bid form (document provided by the contractor.) This Addendum provides Pre-Bid meeting information only and does not alter the previously published bid date(s).

Project Description
Renovate Rooms 329 and 330 on the 3rd floor of the Health & Sciences Building (HSB) to become a Centralized Lab Equipment Facility housing lab instruments for use by the labs within the HSB. Storage for three of the Nitrogen, Helium, Hydrogen and Oxygen gases in Room 332 adjacent to Room 330 plus remote storage for either the Hydrogen or Oxygen gas cylinders. Program for HSB Combined Lecture/Lab to be developed up through Schematic Design for build-out by UIS campus construction staff.
This Project is located at: 2295 William Maxwell Lane, Springfield IL 62703.
A pre-bid conference for all parties interested in bidding the project will be held in Room 81 in the Business Services Building (BSB), 2420 Theodore Dreiser Lane, Springfield IL 62703 at 10:00 AM on 5/2/2025.
Representatives of the Owner and the Professional Services Consultant will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.
