The University awarded a contract for fabrication of 20KW wind generator prototype.
The University of Illinois Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering is in need of a 20KW wind generator. Designed for a multiport integrated generator rectier design for wind turbine applications. Must be compatible with current equipment and accessories used by the Department.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for performing sponsored research and other sponsored activities under grants and contracts funded by the sponsor or by sources other than State appropriations. (30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b)(8)) .
