The University awarded a contract for Kuali Build software system.
Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) is continuing to use the Kuali Build software system and has opted to extend the current agreement for another 3 years (06/01/2026-05/31/2029). The Graduate School has the utilized Kuali Build system for their electronic submission and routing system for the Graduate School's forms and internal funding programs. The software and access are purchased directly from Kuali.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for procurement expenditures for any ongoing software
license or maintenance agreement or competitively
solicited software purchase, when the software, license,
or maintenance agreement is available through only the
software creator or its manufacturer and not a reseller ( 30 ILCS 500/1-13 (b)(10)) This exemption is for ongoing use of Kuali's Build software system that is currently in use by the Graduate School.
