Addendum 01 supplements and amends the project manual and the drawings and shall be taken into account in preparing this proposal and shall become a part of the contract documents. Bidders must acknowledge receipt of this addendum by listing the number and date, where provided, on the bid form (document provided by the contractor). This Addendum provides an RFI response and a new Specification section, only, and does not alter the previously published bid date(s).

Project Description
Project performs structural, mechanical, and electrical repairs to correct deficiencies in the Oak Street steam tunnel between station mark 000 (near the intersection with Gregory Drive) and station mark 700 (south of the intersection with Stadium Drive). Project includes civil and traffic control work to support the structural repairs.
This Project is located at: Oak Street, from the Gregory Drive intersection, south through the Stadium Drive intersection to near the entrance to the Oak Street Chiller Plant parking lot.
A virtual and non-mandatory pre-bid conference for all parties interested in bidding the project will be held at 09:00AM on 1/28/2026 through a zoom call-in Telephone: 312-626-6799, Meeting ID: 832 3487 7644 Password: 1867. Representatives of the Owner and the Professional Services Consultant will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. There will be a site visit after the prebid meeting at 2:00pm and bidders shall gather at the corner of Oak and Gregory. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.
