Southern Illinois University Edwardsville is awarding a two-year renewal to Oxford Medical Simulation Incorporated for the continuing use of Oxford Medical Simulation's Virtual Reality Medical Training Platform that provides the SIUE School of Nursing with realistic, interactive clinical scenarios with detailed performance analytics.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for procurement expenditures for any ongoing software
license or maintenance agreement or competitively
solicited software purchase, when the software, license,
or maintenance agreement is available through only the
software creator or its manufacturer and not a reseller ( 30 ILCS 500/1-13 (b)(10)) This exemption provides a two-year renewal to Oxford Medical Simulation Incorporated for the continuing use of OMS Virtual Reality Medical Training Platform.
