The University awarded a contract for Virtual and In-Person Event Platform.
Radancy (Events) provides a virtual and in-person event management platform with unlimited event hosting, candidate registration, booths, and data capture. The service package includes access for an unlimited number of administrators and representative seats, enabling hiring managers and leaders to engage with candidates through one-on-one or group text, audio, and video conversations, as well as live presentations and webcasts.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for procurements that are necessary for increasing
the recruitment and retention of State employees
30 ILCS 500/1-10 (b)( 26) Without this exemption the university would not be able to increase recruitment.
