The University awarded a contract for Multi-sport Engagement Advertising.
Marketing and advertising, sponsorship opportunities, and logo recognition at multi-sport events of the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics for the Cancer Center at Illinois. To elevate CCIL's brand awareness, drive philanthropy, and inform the residents of the State of Illinois of their impact, research, and presence. Learfield is a partner of the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and has a multi-year rights agreement with them which grants them the right to represent the athletic department and advertising rights associated with Illinois Athletics events, programs and venues.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for procurement expenditures for advertising purchased directly from a media station or the owner of the station for distribution of advertising. (30 ILCS 500/1-13) .
