(30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b)(8)) This procurement is in the best interests of the University because it provides the fastest and most effective method for de-identifying patient free text notes, significantly minimizing the risk associated with the research. The selected company has extensive experience in routinely de-identifying records for the judicial system, ensuring a high level of expertise and reliability. Utilizing any other methods would not only take longer but could jeopardize the timely delivery of this research project's outcomes, making this procurement crucial for meeting project deadlines and maintaining compliance with privacy standards.
