The University awarded a contract for waste sorting labor.
Developmental Services Center will provide labor for the waste sorting at the Waste Transfer Station at the University of Illinois.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for hiring an individual as an employee by contract directly with the individual. (30 ILCS 500/1-10(b)(4)) The Illinois State-Use Committee has reviewed the Agency's price for the proposed agreement in accordance with 30 ILCS 500/45-35 and determined the price submitted is fair and reasonable.
