The University awarded a contract for MedHub e*Value software.
This exemption is for MedHub e*Value software maintenance and support to manage the College of Pharmacy students' academic portfolios, clerkship selections, immunizations, and other student specific academic requirements per the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for procurement expenditures for any ongoing software license or maintenance agreement or competitively solicited software purchase, when the software, license, or maintenance agreement is available through only the software creator or its manufacturer and not a reseller ( 30 ILCS 500/1-13 (b)(10)) This is ongoing software maintenance and support.
