The University awarded a contract for Tutoring CRM software maintenance and support.
The University requires continued maintenance and support for the Pearl Tutoring CRM supporting the Illinois Tutoring Initiative.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for procurement expenditures for any ongoing software
license or maintenance agreement or competitively
solicited software purchase, when the software, license,
or maintenance agreement is available through only the
software creator or its manufacturer and not a reseller ( 30 ILCS 500/1-13 (b)(10)) Software supports the Illinois Tutoring Initiative managed by Illinois State University under a grant from Illinois State Board of Education. The software allows tutors to clock in, receive assignments, track progress, and communicate with school districts.
