The University awarded a contract for Workflow Software.
The University requires maintenance and licensing for the existing workflow solution.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for procurement expenditures for any ongoing software
license or maintenance agreement or competitively
solicited software purchase, when the software, license,
or maintenance agreement is available through only the
software creator or its manufacturer and not a reseller ( 30 ILCS 500/1-13 (b)(10)) The existing Kuali workflow software is only available from the creator.
