The University awarded a contract for Consultation for Nursing Education Curriculum.
Mennonite College of Nursing will contract with The Center for Medical Simulation to review and revise curricula and teaching practices to meet the American Association of Colleges of Nursings new Essentials: Core Competencies for Professional Nursing Education and the move to competencybased education in nursing.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for performing sponsored research and other sponsored activities under grants and contracts funded by the sponsor or by sources other than State appropriations. (30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b)(8)) All work is to be completed by June 30, 2024 to remain in alignment with the current grant funding.
