Project Description
The project consists of replacing all medium voltage and low voltage electrical service equipment, unit substation, serving the mechanical equipment loads of the Mechanical Room 0509 in KCPA. The electrical equipment to be replaced is one of four substations within a double ended looped system. This projects equipment is located in a caged section of the Mechanical Room (0509) within the lower level of facility. Provide for the construction of a new electrical vault to house the medium voltage equipment and service entrance switch(es). New vault to be located in lower level parking area as shown.

A virtual pre-bid conference for all parties interested in bidding the project will be held at 10:00 AM via Zoom on 5/30/2023 through 1-312-626-6799 Meeting ID: 852 7290 1176, Password: 1867 Optional site walk-through to follow at 1:30 PM, at Krannert Center for Performing Arts loading dock.. Representatives of the Owner and the Professional Services Consultant will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.
