The University awarded a contract for lodging/hotel services during Orange Bowl.
This is for lodging the football team during Orange Bowl participation.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes in the procurement code because
the procurement expenditures are for events or activities for which the use of specific vendors is mandated or identified by the sponsor of the event or activity, provided that the sponsor is providing a majority of the funding for the event or activity.
This is the Official Team Hotel for NIU during Orange Bowl participation. Room blocks are guaranteed through the Bowl Championship Series (BCS).
