Quidel Corporation will provide Sofia 2 SARS Antigen FIA (2ST) tests at $23 customer price per unit based on weekly shipments of 300 through 12/2020. Weekly shipments need to increase after 1/1/2021 due to additional sports/testing coming on-line.

Southern Illinois University (SIUE) has contracted with Quidel Corporation for Sofia 2 SARS Antigen FIA (2ST) tests for student athletes participating in Ohio Valley Conference sanctioned athletics through SIUE.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for medical supplies or medical at a university-operated health care center or dispensary that provides care, treatment, and medications for students, faculty and staff (30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b-5)) local funds
