The University awarded a contract for Anthology Software Licenses.
Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) is continuing to use multiple Anthology software licenses, and has opted for a 3-year agreement for cost savings, which also encompasses all Anthology software in one Master Services Agreement. Anthology is specific in its integrative programs for Assessment, Strategic Planning, Outcomes, Data Collection, Program Review, Course Evaluation, Blackboard Learn, Ally for Learn, Mobile Check-In, and Engage. Each of these tools work together to allow us to track and analyze student engagement, retention, and success, and how our departments might improve their operations to positively impact the student experience.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for procurement expenditures for any ongoing software license or maintenance agreement or competitively solicited software purchase, when the software, license, or maintenance agreement is available through only the software creator or its manufacturer and not a reseller ( 30 ILCS 500/1-13 (b)(10)) This exemption is for multiple Anthology software licenses currently utilized by Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE).
