The primary objectives of this request for information (RFI) are:
- To identify database package options and their pricing methodology
- To obtain information to determine options for a database suite serving the needs of various member institutions with varying information needs
- To obtain favorable pricing in light of changes in the state of higher education in Illinois (reduced number of institutions, reduced enrollments, reduced budgets)
The University is not obligated to utilize the information provided in response to this RFI for a purchase. Furthermore, this RFI does not obligate the University to any purchase nor a guarantee of a potential purchase from respondents to this request.
Responses may be submitted either electronically or in hard copy format. Please refer to Section 1.5.3, Requirements for Submissions of Responses, for detailed instructions on the submission process, including the designated email address for electronic responses.
