Metopio will help with the development of Data Dashboard for the Illinois Department on Aging's Multisector Plan on Aging (MPA) in collaboration with UIC Institute for Research on Race and Public Policy, the School of Public Health, and Population Health Analytics Metrics Evaluation. The MPA Data Dashboard will be accessible to diverse audiences including, but not limited to, elected officials, local government, service providers, community-based organizations, caregivers, and older adults. They will have the ability to examine disparities by location, race/ethnicity, sex/gender, age, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, veteran status, etc., and to examine trends over time in addition to point estimates. Those insights can then be visualized as maps, charts, rankings, tables, scatterplots and reports.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for performing sponsored research and other sponsored activities under grants and contracts funded by the sponsor or by sources other than State appropriations. (30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b)(8)) This exemption is for a sponsored project.
