The University awarded a contract for a Principal Project Manager.
Noble Son Consulting LLC will serve as the Principal Project Manager for the Division of Behavioral Health: Organizational Transformation project. Noble Son Consulting LLC will ensure team success through onboarding and ongoing support, define roles and foster collaboration among Illinois Department of Human Services 'IDHR', Division of Mental Health 'DMH', Division of Substance Use, Prevention and Recovery 'SUPR', and key stakeholders, act as the main IHDD contact for the Project Lead and DMH/SUPR teams, addressing status, risks, and adjustments, continuously update the project plan and milestones with the Project Lead, and manage organizational realignment.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for performing sponsored research and other sponsored activities under grants and contracts funded by the sponsor or by sources other than State appropriations. (30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b)(8)) The IHDD serves as a consulting firm to provide advising services to healthcare system partners and government agencies. This project presents the opportunity to maintain the existing partnership between IHDD and IDHS and aid IDHS in the strategic and thoughtful deployment of the new Division. Given the scale of this case, this project provides IHDD with a significant opportunity to establish a substantial presence and reputation in this sector.
