The University awarded a contract for the Sg2 Edge Analytics platform.
The Sg2 Edge Analytics platform is a healthcare market intelligence platform that provides analytics and research specifically, market demand projections and market demographic data along with market research and strategic insights to support organizational growth planning and decision-making.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for procurement expenditures for any ongoing software license or maintenance agreement or competitively solicited software purchase, when the software, license, or maintenance agreement is available through only the software creator or its manufacturer and not a reseller ( 30 ILCS 500/1-13 (b)(10)) The platform enables data-driven decision making for UI Health as it relates to service line expansion, facility planning, enterprise strategy, ambulatory operations, financial management, and workforce planning by analyzing market trends and providing insights on best practices from other organizations.
