The University awarded a contract for a Dental Board Online Review Course.
This purchase is for the UMKC Integrated Dental Board Online Review Course and Digital Integrated National Board Dental Examination Prep Dental Decks.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for periodicals, books, subscriptions, database licenses, and other publications procured for use by a university library or academic department, except for expenditures related to procuring textbooks for student use or materials for resale or rental. (30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b)(5)) This is a revolutionary product for students who will be challenging the newly administered National Dental Board Examination (INDBE). Currently, there is nothing on the market that competes with this product that will properly provide dental students with the resources they need to successfully challenge this board exam.
