The University awarded a contract for Sonopet Hanpiece and CORE 2 Console.
Sonopet Hanpiece and CORE 2 Console. The CORE 2 consoles power and function the Stryker power equipment (drills, saws, attachments, etc) in the OR. The Sonopet straight handpiece is used for fine bone dissection in oculoplastics. It's a safer approach than a conventional drill allowing bone removal in and around the orbit. The reciprocating saw is used to make precise, linear bone cuts. It's often used to make facial cuts in plastics and ent along with podiatry and extremities.
