The University awarded a contract for a headliner performer for Spark 2019 event. .
Slaughter Gang Tour will be providing headline performance for Spark 2019 event (21 Savage).
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for athletic, artistic or musical services, performances, events, or productions by or for a public institution of higher education. (30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b)(4)) This is a top-level performer who?s main audience is our student body. He has had several top hits in the past few years. 21 Savage will bring a top-tier, headling performance for Spark 2019.
