The Giachello Consulting Group, Inc will serve as the community engagement liaison for the All of Us Research Program at UIC. The services provided will include study staff training in recruitment, engagement, and outreach methods; help establish and facilitate the community/participant advisory board; assist with the development of community outreach and engagement events, messaging, and other materials; and advise on other community engagement matters as needed. The GCG, Inc is expected to contribute 49.9 effort hours per month to the research. This project is for from (08-22-2019 to 05-31-2023 with each year having a renewal

This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for performing sponsored research and other sponsored activities under grants and contracts funded by the sponsor or by sources other than State appropriations. (30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b)(8)) Giachello Consultancy will provide recruitment and community engagement training for the All of Us research program staff and project as included in our grant. The GCG has long standing relationships with several community organizations that are being targeted by the All of Us Research Study recruitment. This partnership will help assist the All of Us research Grant meet the desire target for recruitment, as required by sponsor, but will also assist in promoting and disseminating the results of this study to the surrounding communities.
