The University awarded a contract for SAGE Research Methods (SRM) Cases and SRM Videos.
SAGE Research Methods (SRM) Cases and SRM Videos that will provide faculty with an extensive selection of case studies across various research disciplines, offering valuable content for incorporation into teaching materials.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for periodicals, books, subscriptions, database licenses, and other publications procured for use by a university library or academic department, except for expenditures related to procuring textbooks for student use or materials for resale or rental. (30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b)(5)) The case study products cater to diverse research disciplines across campus, offering faculty valuable resources for their teaching needs. These resources encompass books, datasets, podcasts, and videos, demonstrating practical applications of research methods in real-world projects.
