Announcement of an Exempt Purchase

Vendor will serve as the project lead for the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts' Assisted Outpatient Therapy initiative, in partnership with the Institute for Healthcare Delivery Design. Responsibilities to include leading and managing the project team to meet goals and deliverables, serving as the primary contact for stakeholders, providing guidance, mentor ship, and ensure team alignment, managing project plans, meetings, research, and toolkit development and monitoring budget and resources, and adjust plans as needed.

This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for performing sponsored research and other sponsored activities under grants and contracts funded by the sponsor or by sources other than State appropriations. (30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b)(8)) This procurement supports a strategic, high-impact public health initiative that directly aligns with the missions of the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC), the Office of Population Health Sciences (OPHS), and the Institute for Healthcare Delivery Design (IHDD). Working with this vendor will enable the team to execute the work for IDHS expeditiously and sets up the project for success. Without this procurement, project start up will be delayed and could dampen the ability for our team to deliver great work for IDHS.
