Project Description
This project involves the demolition and reconstruction of the northwest basement area of the Illini Union, as indicated in the drawings and specified in the project manual. The scope of work includes demolition of existing partitions, raised floor systems, ceilings, and interior finishes. New construction will reconfigure the space to include a reflection and meditation area in the southern portion and a clinic in the northern portion.
This Project is located at: 1401 W. Green Street, Urbana, IL 61801
A MANDATORY virtual pre-bid conference for all parties interested in bidding the project will be held at 10:00 AM on 10/29/2025 through a Zoom call 312-626-6799, Meeting ID: 823 8811 4633, Password: 1867 OR 10:00 AM on 11/05/2025 through Zoom call 312-626-6799, Meeting ID: 816 2816 4483, Password: 1867. Bidders only need to attend one of the mandatory pre-bid conferences available. A non-mandatory stie visit will be on 11/5/2025 at 1:00 PM and attendees will meet at the entrance in the basement of the project site. Representatives of the Owner and the Professional Services Consultant will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures.
