Project Description
The Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign requests statements of qualifications from Professional Services Consultants interested in providing the Urbana-Champaign campus with historic preservation architectural services on a retainer basis. The university has a target number of four (4) firms to be selected, but reserves the right to award more or fewer retainer contracts based on the qualifications of the submitting firms.
Selected firms will be awarded an initial two-year agreement (beginning July 1, 2025 and ending June 30, 2027). Each agreement will have the option for one (1) two-year renewal (July 1, 2027 to June 30, 2029). The total term with the ability to renew will end on June 30, 2029. At each renewal, there will be an opportunity to make adjustments in the scheduled hourly rates.
Services will be performed on an as-needed basis during the contract period. Consistent with the dollar limits on actions requiring Board of Trustees authorization, retainer agreements may be used on individual projects with total project costs less than $7,500,000 or with professional fees up to $750,000 per project. Each consultant will be limited to an aggregate of $1,000,000 in fees per fiscal year. There is no guarantee that any work will be assigned.
