The University awarded a contract for NCAA Compliance Software.
University of Illinois Springfield awarded a four-year contract for Teamworks Innovation Inc software for recruiting, compliance, workflows and messaging. The software is to be utilized by UIS Athletics Department to assist with NCAA compliance.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for procurement expenditures for any ongoing software
license or maintenance agreement or competitively
solicited software purchase, when the software, license,
or maintenance agreement is available through only the
software creator or its manufacturer and not a reseller ( 30 ILCS 500/1-13 (b)(10)) The software is currently in use by UIS Athletics. The four-year term allows for cost savings to the Unit.
