The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is requesting offers from responsible vendors to furnish and deliver the repairs and replacement of utility plant valves for an initial term beginning at time of award through June 30, 2024 with the ability to renew. This is for use at any of the University Utility Production Facilities (chilled water plant, power plant) and utility distribution piping connected to the plants. For proposal evaluation, the Vendors will provide quotes for Category A. Control Valve and Valve Inspection Services, Category B. Safety and Relief Valve Repair and Testing Services, and Category C. Control Valves and Safety Valves Parts. All valves, parts, supplies and service germane to the maintenance or replacement of the various utility system valves can be procured under this order. All valves, parts, supplies and service germane to the maintenance or replacement of the steam, condensate and chill water valves in the utility distribution system that are of the same pressure and temperature service in the plants can be procured under this order. A multiple award may be made to a primary and one or more alternate vendors in each category. The primary vendor shall have first refusal for all orders with others contacted in progressive order. Ranking of the alternates shall be by price.
