Announcement of an Exempt Purchase

Elevate Healthcare provides a simulation center management system called LearningSpace Enterprise. LearningSpace will support the in-kind equipment donation of patient simulators and consists of a recording/debriefing system that is user-friendly and provides comprehensive data, assessment, and management simulation training sessions. Software and support services consist of updates to the LearningSpace Application, Updates to the operating system, nightly backups, hardware support, and access to Training-For-Life. We are purchasing a 5-year subscription to support the in-kind equipment donation of patient simulators.

This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for events or activities paid for exclusively by revenues generated by the event or activity, gifts, or donations for the event or activity, private grants, or any combination thereof. (30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b)(2)) .
