The University awarded a contract for marketing services.
The University of Illinois Division of Intercollegiate Athletics is in need of marketing services for the 2025-2027 year. ICON will assist the University with activating NIL Rights for student-athletes. ICON will provide marketing services by endorsement, social media, and other promotional events as well as facilitate NIL Rights agreements for sponsors and University of Illinois student athletes.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for events or activities paid for exclusively by revenues generated by the event or activity, gifts, or donations for the event or activity, private grants, or any combination thereof. (30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b)(2)) .
