The University awarded a contract for Complete OCT System and Engine.
The complete OCT System and Engine will be used to build the first prototype, the next generation swept laser, allowing a complete turn key system to be used right away. These items are required for research and no other source is able to meet the researcher's need.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for performing sponsored research and other sponsored activities under grants and contracts funded by the sponsor or by sources other than State appropriations.
