DIA has agreed to purchase the 2025 Men's Basketball Multiple Team Event governed by the NCAA for games played during the 2025-2026 season from bdG Sports, LLC.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for events or activities paid for exclusively by revenues generated by the event or activity, gifts, or donations for the event or activity, private grants, or any combination thereof. (30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b)(2)) This Exemption also qualifies under (30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b)(4)) athletic, artistic or musical services, performances, events, or productions by or for a public institution of higher education.
